We got the word yesterday morning that the deal is done on a new house, and we move in this week & weekend. We found one house that we really liked and decided to go for it. We were telling ourselves if it fell through, then we would just sign a 6 month lease at our current place and keep looking through December. Luckily, it all worked out, and we get to move now - which we had preferred to do anyway. We absolutely LOVE the new place. We went to get our key last night and looked around thinking about where everything will go, it was pretty exciting. Then we went home to begin the packing! Thank goodness for Steve, by the time I had arrived home from work he already had our spare/ computer room all boxed up. We stayed up until about midnight getting the living room and kitchen done, then this momma had to go to bed! We should start moving things tomorrow (maybe tonight) and be done by Sunday! whew! Pictures to come soon......
Not to forget the most important thing - we are 32 WEEKS (yesterday)!!! I've been feeling pretty good. I found out that I've gained 26 pounds so far with this pregnancy. I'm okay with that, and I'd like to not go over 35 extra pounds total, but I'm not going to loose sleep over it. Everything checked out great with Dr. Abbott yesterday, I love going in to hear the heartbeat! After that we headed to Pasadena to meet with our potential Pediatrician, Dr. Segura, who comes highly recommended by the Mustin family (thanks Terri & Greg). Of course, we loved him, and he made a special consideration to meet with us, something he normally doesn't do. He answered all our questions, and was so kind. I think Violet will be in good hands. So, there is one more thing checked off our baby "to-do" list.
Now, what is Violet Sophia up to this week?:
"By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb." - courtesy of babycenter.com
