I am now at 11 weeks! I can honestly now say that I am starting to feel really great! My energy is coming back, and nausea is very, very minimal. My appetite has definitely changed though. I am hungry about every 2 to 3 hours, and can only eat small portions at a time. Maybe that's the baby teaching me the RIGHT way to eat....haha! Once again I have to give my honey, Steve, the big "Thank you & I love you" that he deserves. Supportive doesn't even begin to describe it. He literally waits on me hand and foot, and although sometimes I know I don't deserve it, I am eternally grateful. He is so excited about becoming a Daddy, he kisses my belly at night before we go to sleep. I can't wait to see him holding our baby, the thought of that brings happy tears to my eyes! Stay tuned for new baby pics next week....we have an ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10th!!
Now for the weekly update - Here's what's happening with Baby Schoff this week:
"Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden. She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming." - courtesy of babycenter.com
